Elizabeth Cooper

Beth has been with Court Square Title for over 2 years. She has 8 years experience in the real estate and title industry.  Prior to joining Court Square Title, Beth worked in the loan industry as a loan officer and the manager of a loan office for over 3 years. 

Maggie Seale

Maggie has been with Court Square Title since 2003.  She has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry as a real estate agent and in the title industry.  Prior to that Maggie worked in customer service and accounting fields.

Susan Gibbons

Susan has been with the company since 2005 after moving to Charlottesville from Southern New Jersey.  “If I didn’t know my way around before starting this job, I certainly do now!” she has said, and claims to know not only the shortcuts and back roads to the courthouses in at least six counties, but also every free 15 minute, 30 minute and 2 hour parking space in downtown Charlottesville.  When not lost in the wilds of courthouse records’ rooms, she is working on a novel and has recently taken up running.

Cindy Dudley

Cindy started as an Escrow Officer in November 2005 with 15 years experience in real estate settlements.  A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, she moved back to the area, after 9 years in Richmond, Virginia as a legal assistant for a criminal law firm.  She has been married for 27 years and has two children.  When not at her desk, she enjoys running, bowling, reading, and sharing time with family and friends.

Joan Grinde

Joan has been with Court Square Title since October 2002 at the height of the boom refinance market.  Although Joan wasn’t born here, she was raised in the area and is a graduate of Albemarle High School and VPI&SU with a BS in Business Administration.  Her ties to real estate go back many years though her Mother, Edith Grinde, who spent over 15 years with Montague, Miller & Co; and her sister, Barbara McMurry, who is currently with Montague Miller & Co.  Joan lives in Earlysville, VA with her daughter Paige, son Matthew, daughter-in-law Jeni and granddaughter Annabelle.  Leisure activities include serious porching, and family get-aways.

Connie Friend

Connie is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Virginia, having graduated from the University of Virginia’s School of Law in 1982. Connie practiced real estate law in private practice for three years prior to joining the Court Square Title team.

Mary Ann Trice

Mary Ann came to work for Court Square Title in 1995 and assisted in its first real estate settlements.  Mary Ann graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1983 and from The National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, GA in 1985. She is a certified real estate paralegal and a licensed title insurance agent.  Her experience includes working for attorneys in the State of North Carolina in the eighties, closing and underwriting for mortgage lenders for ten years in Richmond, VA and developing the settlement practices and procedures for Court Square Title.  Mary Ann lives in Ivy, VA with her husband Jeffrey and two daughters Chelsea and Jessica.  Mary Ann’s leisure time is spent riding bikes, hiking, reading and watching her daughters play sports.

Ron Critzer

Ron Critzer, founder and President of Court Square Title, got his start in the title insurance industry in 1977.  He currently serves as 2007-2008 President of the Virginia Land Title Association, the trade association for attorneys and non-attorneys in the settlement and title insurance industries throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Additionally, Ron is an approved instructor for the Virginia Insurance Continuing Education Program.  He opened the doors at Court Square Title of Charlottesville in 1991.  Ron along with his wife Betsy and daughters Leigh and Elizabeth reside in Earlysville, VA.
